Against someone I know I would have waited.
Generally speaking though I think I would have just stole the blinds against an unknown knowing that he almost certainly would have done the same against me. Maybe I would have the restraint to wait in most conditions, I hope I would, but I'm pretty sure in a WTA against an unknown if I was short stacked, I would be picking up the blinds in a fury.
