Default MTTs how aggressive?

I d like to start a post that many people will respond to and many different opinions may be gathered. This is a topic that seems to be popular among MTT.

My specific questions is; How AGGRESIVE is tight AGGRESIVE in the early rounds, round 1,2, and 3 of a large, atleast 500 people, MTT?

Obviously tight can be defined different by people. But I think the majority of us would agree, correct me if you think I'm wrong, that tight means playing high cards, pocket pairs, and suited connectors from later positions cheaply, unless you institute the raise. But the question that I have is, How AGGRESIVE is AGGRESIVE, and what kind of hand does it take to become aggresive? Is aggresive hitting top pair on the flop and then betting the pot? Or does it take hitting two pair before you really become aggressive and risk a good amount of chips? How aggressive do you become when you do get aggressive, bet the pot? More that the pot? 2 pair and go all in? Dont get aggresive if you see a flush draw or straight draw to prevent a suckout? Your opinions please. I havent had the time to watch some of the proven winners in early rounds to figure out how they amass that large amount of chips, but from my experience it must be putting a large amount of chips into pots in the early rounds, from the stacks I have seen them with in the middle rounds. Hope I can pick those poker brains a little bit here. Thanks for your comments guys.

Keep reading these forums and posting hands from tourneys and you'll learn how aggressive you should be. I don't think anyone can answer your question in words. Only way you're gonna know "how aggressive" is by experience.

For every 1 tourney you see a known player with a big stack in the middle rounds there were 3(at least) tourneys where he had a small/average stack or was out.
