so tell me, who'd make a bot that makes plays like these at the 16's

This is the second hand. He called getting about 2.5:1 from the pot. He had an OESD and FD. If he counted all his outs as good he has 14 of them and was a 2.3:1 dog. I dont play NL, but it seems reasonable.

Default I think it\'s doable...

If he sticks to a strict strategy, then the only thing stopping him from playing more and more is how quickly he can move his mouse and click. Since he's had the training for this I think it's quite realistic. The only dodgy thing is that he chats.

I think I could mange 20 myself, and I've only had some 12 tabling experience (I jumped from 6 to 12 with no problems, and now do 10). If I could manage 20 without much experience, I have no doubt someone could manage 30 with alot of experience under their belt.

I have heard that he is a former Starcraft pro. I therefore think it is believable. You have to understand that the APM (actions per minute) among pros in that game is near superhuman when you see it in person or on a vod.

ahhhh, if that's true, (that he's a starcraft pro) then I believe it, I used to be hardcore into it and to be GREAT you have to be a superhuman micromanager.

I've never heard of an SC pro with that name. (I played at the World Cyber Games the first two years)

I say this on another post, but people overstate their APM in SC just as they overstate their winnings in poker. I don't think there're many players out there with 350+ APM, I also don't think you'd even need 200 APM to 24 table. I know I could do it, and 200 APM was pretty much my upper limit.

I talked to HIM, and HE said he plays on a 17inch monitor. I was not saying what you said was [censored], i was saying playin 30 tables on a 17inch monitor while chatting is highly unlikely.

[/ QUOTE ]

PokerStars was sent a six minute, 130 MB good sized video MPG video of him doing this, as proof he was not a bot. In the video, the game count was 25.

He does indeed do this on a single, 17 inch notebook screen.

One amusing point was that after getting 25 tables going, he took the time to load Windows Media player and change his background music between actions. His choice: "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. :-)

more than likely he is using a secondary program that assists in bringing up the screen that has the least amount of time to act on it, and as soon as he makes an action, the next screen is ready to go.

[/ QUOTE ]

No secondary program is needed. That's what the PokerStars client does -- stacks them up in queue, bringing the next table to the forefront when you act on the previous table. The PS client manages the timing -- the "shortest time left to act" always comes to the forefront next.

haha, this guy's great. I was very doubtful until I heard about the video. I'd love to see his ROI.

The more i think about it, the more i think its possible.by the by, im sure i played with the guy 18 months ago when i was hitting up the stars games - he had game back then, it seems he has streamlines his strategy massively to ultratable the games.
