You shouldn't be bothered by people smarter, more knowledgeable, and/or have more experience in certain areas because you can still be friends and work with these individuals. You might even learn stuff.

Being a generalist is more fun anyway. It almost seems as if you need to be obsessive-compulsive, or an ultra perfectionist, to be a super genius... which implies specialization. So let the geniuses obsess and drive themselves nuts w/ minute details while you worry about big pictures instead.

I assume I'm above average intelligence since I completed a series of university degrees (4 undergrad + 3 grad + 1 professional degree) in a fraction of the time. At one point I was doing the equivalent of a 4 year honours degree in 9 months while still having a very active social life.

What did you study?

How were you able to do multiple accelerated degrees like this? Very curious.

My university had a flat fee system so tuition was the same if you took 5.0 courses (normal load) or 4.0 or 5.5-5.0. They figure the number of people taking 5.5 is less then those taking 4.0 to increase their averages.

I figured out in my first year that the phone registration system confirmed you did not exceed 5.0 courses without permission but that it did not check that you had an even distribution in first and second semester. So I took 8 first term half courses and 1 full year course. I still had 5.0 courses even though I had 9 courses in first semester.

At the winter break I went to the Dean and given my grades was allowed to add more courses for second semester. I did almost 2 years worth of university in my first year.

My second year I was able to increase my load even again to 15.5 (3 years worth +1/2 a course) At my peak I was taking 22 courses a year. A 4 year honours degree is 20.

I had to agree that I could not ask for extensions etc.. I also had to get permission from profs to take their courses where I was taking the prerequisite course at the same time. I needed permission from profs if I was taking a course I could not attend completely because it conflicted with a second course etc.

Spelling is the one thing that I am just horrible at. My grammar is average to slightly below average. Luckily I had access to an editor who fixed all that for me.

Henry17 , let me test your game theory knowledge .

There are two players who ante $1 each . Player 1 has the option of betting the pot ,($2) or checking . If he bets , player 2 can call the bet or fold . If player 1 checks then player 2 may either bet or check .

What is the strategy for both players if the goal is to pick the highest number from 1-100 .

Let me see what you got smartypants .

Ok I am impressed and I have no reason to be skeptical about your academic success. However, did you edit your last post due to a spelling error? lol.
