No one has played Catenaccio since 1965 or so when Inter lost vs Celtic in the EC final after leading 1-0 at the break and playing the second half with 7 defenders and ½ a striker.


Seriously. The Catenaccio cliche is as overused as the "all they do is defend".

I saw a statistical analysis a while back showing that they score more goals pr game in Serie A than in the Premier League.
