For team slayer, most of the maps are smaller than or the same size as snowbound. Isolation in particular is a really really small map that has an underground and an above ground part. Creates alot of fun chaos. For big team battle, there are some huge maps.

So I finally jumped into ranked games tonight...wow is all I can say. I knew they were harder than social but I had no idea. After getting my ass handed to me repeatedly on lone wolf, I moved into team slayer. That went much better and I even picked up an MVP on one of the matches.
HEre is one thing I dont understand. How can you have a highest of skill achieved of like 25 and still be put in a 1-11 bracket for instance? This was happening to me a lot on lone wolf.

[/ QUOTE ] Highest skill means nothing, it's all about the loan wolf skill. So if you're a 14 in lone wolf, you'll play other 14's in lone wolf, doesn't matter if they are a 28 in ts or it's their highest rank. Also, yes the social are really laid back compared to ranked. Ranked are so intense sometimes, I've already almost broken a controller and broken two headsets so meh. Also 10 or so exp from major noooo.

BTW I've been having a great time in team slayer, my roommate hasn't been doing as well, so he brings the rank down while I push it back up. The last 4 games I had the most kills. I am so addicted to this game right now... 14 on team slayer, but working kids on it. Lubes420 if anyone wants to play, I'll play w/ anyone between 8-22 on team slayer.

Anyone play w/ forge yet. I messed around w/ it and it looks good. I'm going to make a guardian variant for team slayer and FFA slayer. Friend me and we'll play when I'm done (hopefully this weekend).

I suck at lone wolf, probably cause I dont know the maps that well yet for one, but I play much better in a team environment. Once I dig myself out of scrub status I'd definitely like to team up. The only problem is that I play in Pacific time and Im usually not on til like 9 or 10 Pacific time.

[/ QUOTE ] That's 11-12 my time, usually in bed by then (gotta work by 7), but my roommate plays until 2-4 any given day and he's decent. So if you see me on and waiting for a game, usually I'm waiting for team slayer so jump in.
