With a 2 flush on the flop you need to bet both to charge draws and start building the pot so you can get all in on turn/river without making gross overbets.

yeah bet more on the turn at least. the river looks really tough with two minimum raises. if the buyin is low i d call here too.

i figured at least one of them would bet at the flop and i could raise there, i was suprised they checked behind. should have been suspicious, but i was behind a set of 8's and a set of q's the entire time.

I would make a more informative title next time, including buyin and small situation description.

I think the preflop call after the raise+call is marginal. To play for set value you need to be able to make about 15x the amount when you hit. With 2 players and the money already in the pot it is just that.

On the flop as said you need to bet so draw players make a mistake. You are giving flush chasers a free card to beat you now, which is a mistake.
Check raising on a draw board is very risky and I would only sometimes do it against multiple loose opponents.
You are facing 2 opponents, so chances are at least one will call your bet.
If you bet you let the chasers make a mistake, you are building a big pot for your monster hand and if you bet, you might be able to push on the turn or river and double.

On the turn you bet 130 into a 495 pot. Now you give draw chasers the correct odds to call. You are facing two players and I would think at least one of them is after the flush draw, which beats your hand now. I would bet about 400 here and push the river if it is not a club.

The river is ok I think, you almost always have the best hand here and you got all you chips in the pot with two callers and no obvious draws out there. Nice result in the end.

If you are afraid of a higher set when you hit one you are playing too scared. Odds of someone having a higher set are too insignificant (unless exeptional situation tells otherwise).

check raising the flop and then pushing turn looks good or even crai.
