Sac bunt is 100% the right play. You trade an out for a significant increase in ways to win (sac fly, single scores the run 100% of the time, walk, HBP).

Also, shouldn't they be replacing Damon with Cairo so they can use five infielders? I don't think anyone is throwing Lofton out at home.

Question - is there a rule that all the fielders must be in the field of play when the ball is pitched? One of the announcers brought up the fact that if Viz threw a wild pitch during the IBB, Lofton would come home - why wouldn't the Yankees put a player behind the catcher to prevent this very unlikely scenario?
