1.) Herve Villichaize - Tattoo - Fantasy Island. Foreign AND a midget. Didn't want to drive the mini-car. Held out for more money, replaced by Mr. Belvedere, hung himself. Poor little guy.
2.) Gargamel - vaguely slavic/central european cartoon villain. 3.) Oscar Goldman - The Six Million Dollar Man - clearly Jewish. (I keed, I keed) |

Schultz was less talented by far, it seems to me. And much more one-note. Werner Klemperer was Da Man.

It just seemed like an attempt to make a comedy series out of The Great Escape (which was ridiculously good). I'm not old enough to have seen the show when it originally aired. I was really just talking about Richard Dawson from TV game shows. |

I'm old enough. But it wasn't a great show. It just had a couple actors with cool vibes. I'm not sure a lot of people missed it when it was gone, but everybody seemed to love Colonel Klink.

I didn't see Babu mentioned. [/ QUOTE ] No, you didn't. This is the slippery slope on which we tread once we let Jeannie into the mix. Next you're going to want to nominate AIDS 'cause it's from Africa. |

Colonel Klink rocked a concentration camp like no other! [/ QUOTE ] The only "Good" Germans on American TV in the last 60 years have been the Engels family featured on Little House On The Prairie. |
