how did this thread get so long? isn't this basically exactly the hand that greenstein described in his book except he was holding a stronger hand than ZJ's? you basically have this player tagged as weak (basically what "straight-forward" implies to most people), so doesn't that polarize his range even more here? calling the turn with the intention of doing anything other than c/c the riv seems terrible (because you're only looking to get value from AK if you bet and anything else he calls with beats you).

I reckon he has 77 or something like that. He raised, but when he said raise he instantly regretted it, so he said it quietly.
Then when he makes his bet he again regretts it, and trys to call. He's calm because he knows hes [censored] up (he's not a rich guy.... this might be a shot at some life changing money...) The reason he doesnt freak out is because he thinks he might in the pot and might view his line as repping something big. The Armenian guy thought about raising. I doubt he evr bluffs a raise... so he has to have something in his hand. AQ/AJ/AT even... which reduces the chances your beaten. Just Push it in. (FWIW that was me trying to use nth level thinking to the max)
