I watched the first couple episodes and didn't feel it at all. I'm the retard that can't watch Curb Your Enthusiasm though.

I kind of assumed this is how it would be. Probably not so much a bad writer's idea of a nerd as the general public's idea of a nerd. Catering to the actual nerd crowd would not be a big enough market.

Yeah, you pretty much just described why Freaks and Geeks got cancelled.

1. Always Sunny
2. FOTC

I also like the office, but it doesn't come close to either of these shows. The writing for these 2 shows is so far above anything else on TV, it reminds me of arrested development and seinfeld the way the plots of each show really develop great comedy situations. I have heard 30 rock is good but haven't checked it out yet.

i don't watch that much tv, but i saw an episode of 30 rock on the plane yesterday and it was hilarious. tracy morgan and alec baldwin were incredible.

EDIT: tracy morgan may or may not have offered a (female) friend of mine $1,000 to go home with him one night.

Yes. Great start to the season if you ask me.

Some episodes seem to suck when it is actually a huge subtle build-up to the final ten seconds which make you laugh your ass off.

Great show.

Did anyone watch The Big Bang Theory on CBS on Monday?

Any good?

[/ QUOTE ]

Horrible.

The permise fails because the nerds just aren't written as real humans, but cliches of what some bad writer thinks a nerd might be. Kindof a shame, because the chick is pretty solid and her intereaction with the nerds actually seems plausible.
