I'm still baffled that Love Monkey already got canned by CBS. Thomas Cavanagh rules. I guess the UPN/WB combo that is developing soon is looking to pick it up.

Sports Night should have ran longer than it did.

There was a sitcom last year that I really liked, the lead girl now has an hour long show on sundays on CBS I believe, but maybe its some other night. There was a black guy in a wheelchair who always gave the lead guy [censored], it humored me at least.

The Ben Stiller Show got cancelled and still won an Emmy for writing

I was going to mention this one.

Also, are the Playmakers people serious? That show was just Boston Public with a football team instead of a high school.

Wife loved that show too... Committed.

The guy is now on 4 Kings and she is on CBS show Close to Home and no longer has that annoying high pitched voice.

I don't think that the Maxx lasted all that long either. Fastlane didn't last long enough either. It seemed like Fox just decided to dump some pretty good shows all at once when they got a rid of fastlane, firefly, and andy richter controls the universe all in one fell swoop. So now we get the war at home instead. wow, we the viewers won that one

Heat Vision and Jack

this show never made it on the air. one episode was made as a pilot for Fox but they passed on it. it spread widely in bootleg form with the help of the internet and has probably been viewed more than any "non-existant" TV show episode ever. Jack Black played the lead role (well before even Tenacious D) of "Jack". on a side note, Ben Stiller directed the pilot.

i'd also vote for Undeclared.

Hi Roy:

The Prisoner. It ran its complete course but was only designed as a summer fill in.

best wishes,
Mason

[/ QUOTE ]

Just as a qualifying sidenote: several eps of The Prisoner weren't even part of the season. They were originally planned as Secret Agent Man eps and got modified for use in The Prisoner.

Also: How do remakes affect qualification here? Since a remake of The Prisoner is in production does that count as an additional season or a new show entirely?

How long did "Models INC" last?

If < 1 season, that.

[/ QUOTE ]

It lasted a full season, and it was pretty good! Of course, you had to like Melrose Place to like Models, Inc.

Models, Inc. must have the record for the biggest cliffhanger that NEVER gets resolved - at a big season-ending wedding, where every major cast member is in attendance, a rifle is shot from the gallery. Season ends, we don't know who got shot, who lives, or who dies.

Then the show got cancelled over the summer.
