This brought back a memory for me. I had a very similiar situation going to a concert. I had a friend bail on me at the last minute and I didn't want the ticket to go to waste. It was a hot ticket so I thought I would just sell it when I got down there. I show up and there is a woman holding a sign looking for a ticket that says, 'I need a miracle'. Long story short, I gave her the ticket.

But I didn't blow the chance to get her number. Ended up marrying her. Pretty sure that's a beat though.
