Default Re: ~~~ Official 2007 KC Chiefs Don\'t Totally Suck thread ~~~

I can't tell anything from that crappy res pic.

Anyway. You are getting so much blowback because you are flat proclaiming your team is already average. They will have to work their asses off and really get it together to make average.

Oakland isn't good, but they are playing much better than the past years. I think KC will split the series with them. San Diego will beat them twice, and they will be lucky to split with Denver. Sure no teams scare you at Arrowhead, but you aren't going to dominate at home like in past years. Your non-conference home games are JAC, CIN, GB, and TEN. Again, I think you are going to be lucky to go 2-2. JAC will beat you, and the other three are winnable, but 2/3 is the best you can hope for. Cincy is so random with their super offense and awful D. GB has no running game and a mixed D. I think Tennessee is a very solid team this year, and the toughest game of the three.

The best possible scenario (imo) has them with 5 wins after estimating their conference performance, and home games. That leaves three non-conference road games: IND, DET, NYJ. Indy you can't win, and you face a real possibility of losing both the others. I think Detroit has a shot at 9 wins if they stay healthy. The Jets aren't that good, but are average and it is hard to win on the road in this league.
