The head of EvilAngel, John Stagliano (aka Buttman) contracted AIDS when down in Brazil, when he had unprotected sex with a "tranny." He then spread it unkowingly to his wife (porn star Tricia Devereuax). Both are currently perfectly healthy thanks to AZT and they even had a child who is free of HIV. Literally, a handfull of people in twenty years. And most of them came from having unprotected sex outside of the biz. That's a hell of a record.

Every performer MUST have a clean bill of health when they show up on set or they are asked to leave. Look at the stats over the last two decades - you have more of a chance of catching a cummunicable disease from the general public than from a porn star. It is that safe and that fanatical. However, I'm talking more about the adult film industry...obviously, with the influx of internet porn sites, they are impossible to regulate. Also many diseases cannot be found with standard tests, such as HPV which causes genital warts and cancer. I found it hard to believe that the people in the adult film industry do not ever have risky sex outside others in the porn industry... it can't be monitored.... or can it?
