If the holecard software simply spits out text like "seat 6: 9c2c" does he consider that "seeing" the cards? What if someone was relaying them via IM or phone? Does he know anyone with access to the holecards?

um, if he is willing to cheat by finding out hole cards, then he is willing to lie on his blog...

(not saying he does cheat - I don't know, but you trying to read "behind" his words is weird).
