What movie scared you the most as a kid?

Tremors was very fun. But scary? Hard to even imagine anyone finding that scary. It was inherently ridiculous.

VERY VERY fun movie!

And some genuinely creepy parts. I love he way he ate the apple -- one bite and the thing is almost gone. Tons of great tense moments. And very funny. I loved that "Evil" friend. He was so super great, and we saw almost no more of him ever. Astounding.

That scene in one of the Superman movies where the girl gets stuck in that room - and pieces of robotic metal start latching onto her - scared the piss out of me when I was like five. I think I was traumatized forever because of that.

Same. This movie scared me so bad that for a few months after if I was watching TV alone I'd watch it standing up against the wall behind our couch because I was afraid of something (it) lurking behind there.
