[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] What were those "spirits" they were describing at the beginning - the 7 entities of life/death? [/ QUOTE ] Its from the Egyptian book of the dead. Its the perfect choice since Adrian came back from the dead to visit Carmella in her dreams. Its additionally poignant because William S Burroughs was a heroin junkie and an American hero.. just like Chris. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] [/ QUOTE ] And that was Burroughs prose they were reading at the beginning of the episode about the Egyptian Book of the Dead? (I was distracted at the start of the show). (On a side note - Burroughs is related to the Burroughs of Burroughs Computers - thanks Wiki.) |

btw, the hanging scene was extremely uncomfortable and just about what i'd expect a hanging to look like. [/ QUOTE ] I was wondering if that people who committ suicide in this manner still claw at their neckline to "save" themselves, or if this is almost completely involuntary. |

[/ QUOTE ] I always wondered why they don't try to climb up the rope, since clawing at your neckline is obviously not going to work. |

Dumb-ass was supposed to cinch the noose to the SIDE of his neck, so it would break his neck and kill him instantly.
Instead, he cinched it BEHIND his neck, which choked him out. |

I really don't get the women in this show. What does Carmela think Tony does for a living? She's acting like "good mother" and "happy family" when her husband is a mudering thug. That whole contradiction always bothered me. The same thing with Eugene's wife - does she not even have a clue? She thinks he can just put in his 2 week notice and leave?
The women here seem so naive. |

[ QUOTE ]
The women here seem so naive. [/ QUOTE ] All the women are conniving bitches who want new cars, furs, and sushi every day without wanting to face the reality of where it comes from. This is what women are like. |
