If the third Matrix was directly after the first, I would agree that it would be the biggest disappointment in film history. As is, it only got progressively worse.

Once you understand what's going on in the movies they are a lot better.

Depends on if you enjoy religious philosophy or not I guess.

The second and third matrix was a jumbled mess of good ideas poorly implemented. It rambled, and over-ran in a tangential torrent of incoherency. The first Matrix was well put together, even if it wasn't all to original.

Godzilla -- a year before it was released, he teasers for this movie had crowds fired up... the movie had tons of hype... and then it sucked beyond belief.

Matrix Revolutions -- instead of the conclusion to an interesting trilogy, it became just another shoot-em-up sci-fi movie... Weak as hell...

Star Wars: Episode I -- Kid actors suck (Yipeeeeee!)

Lady in the Water -- I like M. Night, but this was the worst movie I saw last year, and it wasn't even close

Have any of you guys ever seen any of the other BLOODSPORT movies? God the first one is one of my ultimate faves but the sequels are unbearable.

Life Aquatic is definitely on my big flop list, as is the obv Rocky 5 + Episode 1.

I also really hated Transformers.

Balls of Fury.

Table tennis, Thomas Lennon, Christopher Walken, Karate Kid spoofing? This should have been a lock. It was painful.

I don't know which is more strange: that you thought The Life Aquatic was a big flop, or that you had really high expectations for Rocky V.
