a) wtf at Helmuth's table coaching. Just type "nh" and let the donkey enjoy himself.
b) wtf at Laak folding a monster draw on turn in position with enough behind for 2/3 pot bet.
c) wtf at the Matusow call with 44
d) the two Matusow shoves were either genius or madman. I cannot figure out which one.
e) wtf at Brandon not raising trips there at the obvious blocking bet.

[/ QUOTE ]

definitely the main things i was thinking about as well...also i'm suprised how many people guess about what someone has and no one gets pissed off...i wouldn't really appreciate phil hellmuth guessing what I have when hes not in the hand and saying it out loud

When is Helmuth going to learn that betting $10 into a 50K pot with air doesn't work in cash games?

[/ QUOTE ]

He got to see a showdown for about 1/20th of the pot. I'd say it worked pretty well.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's a great bet if your going for that "I'm a tourny donk that has no idea how to play cash games" image.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd say it was a good bet if you really didn't know where you were and knew if you checked Brian would have bet more and then PH would have to wonder if he was getting seven-deuced. Pretty cheap blocking bet IMO.

The bad part about that habd was Brian not raising on the river.

it was a horrible bet because anyone who has any clue how to play is going to raise it with pretty much any 2...and he will very likely get taken off the hand and in enough cases to make it stupid get taken off the best hand

a) This is pure hellmuth, and this is why we hate/love him.

b) Laak is a big nit. I really don't know why he's playing when it looks like he's playing with scared money.

c) Like Mike said, either genius or donkey. I think the call is fine getting 3 to 1 when you're playing the 72 game, and Todd can be on diamonds.

d) the 99 shove was genius, because he played the hand perfectly (he bet small so that aggressive Todd would pick up on his weakness and Todd would raise his cbet, and then Mike would shove over Todd's raise. The 64 is wow tho.

e) *shrug* Brandon is terrible?

Hence the bet against Brandon, saying that it wont work against a good player isnt really relevant here, also Id say it worked..
