Glocks feel like crap in my hand and I would never consider owning one for that reason. [/ QUOTE ] Do you have large hands or particularly long fingers? I hate Glocks for the same reason; they never feel right in my hands. |

I [censored] this dudes girl so he threw a brick threw my car window like a bitch. Then I went to his house and bashed him with a bat on his front portch. I saw his brother comming towards the door and I was gunna bash him too, but he shot me twice. That dropped me right there on the door step. It had enough knocking power for me.
Beat:I got charged with two counts of assalt and one of battery. WTF ever I was the one that got shot. |

I have multiple guns, semi auto handguns, revolvers, pistol grip 12 gauge shotty, and two assault rifles.
Personally, for what you are saying, I would go with a Glock 19. I have one myself and even though it's a basic handgun, it's just sweet. But then again, that's exactly what you want, basic. Cheap and extremely reliable being a glock. The only problem is it doesn't have an external safety which kind of blows. Just be careful with it and if it's cocked, make sure your finger doesnt go anywhere near the trigger(it shouldnt unless it's being pointed for immediate useage). Go to the shooting range somewhat regularly, take the wife, (and kids if old enough). Twice a month should cut it in my opinion, maybe take two or three classes as soon as you buy it to really get a feel for it and know what you should be doing. |

[/ QUOTE ] This, imo, is a horrible recommendation. Even more so for a woman with sensitive hands. You can't hardly fire 5 rounds from one of these things before your hands sting like a mofo. super uncomfortable to shoot. Of course you won't notice in the heat of battle but you sure do at the shooting range. IMO you are better off with a Glock 26 for a carry weapon. |
