incredibly weak. only hand that realistically improved was 22. So often when they call the flop and donk the turn it's a weak hand seeing where they are at. it's a little different cause he donk the flop as well.
but, I'm certainly not folding this on the turn. |

Dipstik 3x or 77 are the only hands that beat you and there are 34783247895437897895498 draws on board I would never fold an OP.

dipstik,
Just guessing, but he sped up between calling your raise on the flop and leading the turn; why? he liked the 2d; why? he thinks it's a blank and he has one pair of 7s. |

Yeah shortstackers are annoying and the good ones reduce our profitability but there's no reason to hate them. A lot of times I'm tempted to shortstack just because it's easy, robotic, tilts the regs, and so many people play absolutely horribly against them. Not to mention I could 12 table and get some serious hands in. That thread in MSNL from a while back was pretty interesting. People hate shortstackers so they spite call them and stuff and don't bother doing the math to figure out what's going on which is what makes the shortstackers stick around anyway. [/ QUOTE ] These are exactly the points that prompted me to take a closer look at the idea of shorstacking. With the far more mechanical/simple method of playing, you could get far mroe tables in with the same level of concentration/effort. If you could maintain a winrate of even 1ptbb/100 playing 12 shorstacked tables of 2/4nl, you'd be looking at some pretty decent cash. By my numbers, it would be about $72 per hour BEFORE factoring in any fpp/vip benefits and those would be pretty substantial. |

Am I the only one that needs something to not be mindless and robotic for me to continue to do it?
