Threads like this one, the dbag one and pretty much all fashion-related threads really bring out how close-minded and judgmental a lot of you guys are. I hate these types of threads. :/

Grown men in pro sports jerseys. (cycling and soccer are exceptions)

[/ QUOTE ]

WTF is with the exceptions? If you are going to hate on people supporting their teams, at least be consistent.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well for one, cycling jerseys are functional if you're cycling. I don't mind grown men in pro hockey jerseys if they're playing hockey. And soccer jerseys are an exception because they piss off many American sports fans (I don't follow soccer, but I support pissing off American sports fans).

Pls report to Douche thread and raise your hand high, thank you.

A good example of a non trashy redneck would be Hank Hill from the animated series King of the Hill. Basically just a southern guy who enjoys drinking beer, sports etc. Doesn't mean he is trash but there are plenty who are both.

Trashy people generally do not take care of their appearance or their belongings, yet will also place to great a value on having things like a large screen TV, nice wheels or the latest CD while living in a [censored] apartment complex or trailer or not paying their phone bill.

Luann from the same series would be a good example of trashy

very close

My initial reaction was Dale yes but he has the ability to hold down a steady job and apparently pay his bills. Very borderline but I would lean trashy for behavioral reasons.

Boomhaurer, would appear to indeed be trashy , mostly due to his car but I don't know enough about his life outside of standing by a fence, drinking beer and muttering to himself to say for sure.

I will vigorously argue that late 60's Firebirds were excellent. Also, 70's were solid, 90's and on are debatably acceptable. Same with Camaros except they were excellent in the 70's as well.

This isn't very common but have any of you seen the little clip on belt holsters made for a Zippo lighter? Pretty trashy.

Nothing currently does this for me more than crocs. They don't scream "I love comfort", Birkenstocks do. They scream "I'm a piece of trash". A distant second is a pickup truck with some sort of "anti-the other brand of truck" sticker, or some absurd "patriotic" slogan on it. The bronze goes to dudes wearing excessive jewelry who aren't platinum selling rappers. Watch is ok. One bracelet is ok. One chain is ok. Even an earring or a ring. Fine. But you go to 3 or 4 rings, or several chains, or whatever, then you officialy score right at the top of the trash-o-meter. [/rant]

[/ QUOTE ]

What about the pickup truck with truck nutz?
