Why the South rules (SEC/UGA/Southern Brag)

i went to gtown and live in SF. I don't get what all the arguing is about. Southern schools tend to be worse than most other places in teh nation. their girls also tend to be hotter unless you're in socal or arizona. where is all this debate coming from?
