Where you going? Random question for you... how much does the typical ivy leaguer drink? I've heard very different accounts. Athens is pretty much alcoholic central, but i'm curious how the nightlife is up theyre (get it southurn people cant grammar krectly).

I go to Duke. I drink about 2.5x/week on average I'd say, but there are a few weeks I drink 5 nights and then some I drink 1. Its pretty much inline with what most of my friends at UGA drink, its just that y'all have a lot more bars in Athens than we do in the shithole called Durham.

Look, don't confuse the rural redneck trailer park south with southern cities, or campuses of southern universities. If you go out in the sticks, yes, you find plenty of ignorant, trashy people. If you go anywhere where there's any money or culture, you find that most everybody is fairly well-educated and leads the same kind of lifestyle as anybody from the north or west.

As for the girls, it depends on what you're looking for. You want fake-ish porn-star hotness, you look in California. You want something more genuine and sweet-looking, you look down south. There's nothing wrong with either preference.

So if you go to the nice areas, things are better? No way!!!!!!!!

The point is that the south has about 2038409x more crappy places than the rest of the country. I love certain parts of living here and certain areas are great, but the south as a whole blows.
