Stacks are about $350 or so.

I'm about 29/22 at the time, villain is 26/9.

Villain limps, I raise JJ, it folds around to villain.

Flop is J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and I bet $16, he calls (pot $52).

Turn is the Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], he checks, I bet $33, and he tanks for about 10 seconds and calls. (pot $118).

River is the K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. He tanks a few seconds and checks, I bet $80 and he insta-pushes.

Is it FGATOR-like of me that I sooooooo wanted to check behind here, and I soooooooo want to muck now?

That's truly the sickest river card ever. Dude's range is basically Qx, and he raises AQ preflop. I think he c/rs the flop like always with 88.

That is a really sick river card. Obv not a fold, and I think the check behind would be a mistake in the long run.

Your hand is not great, but you beat more of his range than you lose to IMO.

You beat everything execept what? KK,QQ,KQ,QJ.

Can't fold, and can't check behind. People just do to much stupid crap on-line.

question for ssnl donkament experts:

are you paying attention to your table in the similar fashion that you would at a 6m table? i can't seem to concentrate and just browse forums/watch tv while playing. might be one of the reasons why i suck at donkaments.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't pay attention at 6max or MTT.

I don't pay attention at all really. PT highlights some stuff. Of course I notice if a guy plays at me a few times.

I dont play the real high level donkaments. Maybe, it's necessary to pay attention there.

I mean seriously, when your only plays are to shove/fold, why pay attention right?

think i'm gonna run some TOURNS tonight. what are some BR guidelines for MTTs? like could i play 55rs and 215s with $15k? or should i stick to smaller ones.

i wouldn't really say i'm a complete amateur fwiw, i sometimes sweat a few good online tourney players IRL and have cardrunners.

[/ QUOTE ]

generally 100bi, but w/ 15k roll i'd be playing the warmup/mil once a week since they are sick soft and hugely +EV. I wouldn't be playing the 50r/stars $150/100r though, but everything else.

Looks exactly like KQ or QJ. I mean 88 is possible as well if he's really awful, but most of the time you are beat. Don't think you can call.
