How do I win a world champ medal?

Hi,
I would like to get better at HU - no limit tournaments.
I saw the FAQ at the HU forum. What I don't have is a general strategy for deep and middle stack, after that I use Sage or ICM.

Where do I begin?

Well I won mine at STTFHUC II. So if Irie every has III or there is another USP those are two viable options. You can be like curtains and invent a bunch of medals for everything you do. But you have to have rigorous internal standards so that you feel worthy of those medals.

Or you could just go to the store, buy one, and do mental exercises every day about winning it at something that didn't actually happen. Before you know it you will think it happened and you are world champ!

For HU you really just have to play and review hands. I mean, all NL concepts apply and obv in a NL HU tourny when the blinds get high it's just like HU in a STT. But there aren't any hard and fast rules/guidelines like in STTs or even MTTs.

The trick to freeze-out NL poker is really seeing into your opponents soul. I don't know if one naturally has this or can achieve it with practice.

Oh, and don't lose your head!

And I didn't even know we had a HU forum, which is funny b/c I play HU poker, lol @ me.
