I think it looks great in IE....hopefully they can get it working with firefox since that's what many of us (myself included) use.

FWIW, I prefer the dropdowns to the sidebar.

This looks like someones Grandkid got the job as head designer. Brutal. What's with those cheesy damn book graphics. How will this help you sell books? If i wasn't here already I would never come back here on first visit.

The software will be rolled back to the previous version tomorrow morning. I think the bugs will be worked out and rereleased.
