I hate it as well. The previous forums width was my entire monitor; this width is absolute not relative therefore it only takes up a small portion of the screen. Ugh...

Is there some way that I can route all the posts into a different layout using a firefox plugin or something? This layout is way too small on a 1600x1200 monitor.

I think the change looks alright. The site is meant to show off and sell books. I think the changes fulfill that goal. Some of you are probably forgetting this is a publishing company.

Granted, the drop down menus aren't the best choice, but hopefully they'll give an option later to do away with that and go back to the old way without a drop down menu. Then again, its not something that I can't get used to.

Not to mention 1/3 of my screen just being blank...but hopefully they'll fix that later.
