Why? My question was whether I should have made the bet, not whether I should have called the raise. Prick.

I was betting the river for value. They both check/called the turn and then checked the river. I figured at least one of them for a weaker Ace. When I get check-raised my TPTK is screwed ... right?

i like betting the flop. i'd bet more on the turn, and i think you have to bet the river. calling the minraise is probably slightly -ev.

its true that you are ahead very rarely on the river. however, you pretty much dropped yourself in a crappy situation with your bet sizing on the turn and river. i have seen people get very, very fancy when they believe their opponent is weak, and your river bet could be just small enough for him to try and pull a tricky bs move (yes, i have seen river check minraise bluffs before. its very rare, but its not out of the question). so to answer your original question, i like bet/folding the river, but i prefer to make it more like 100, not only to get more value from a worse A, but to make folding to a raise a lot easier.

Bet more on the turn, and a little more on the river IMO. Now fold.....I don't get why people are saying call, this is never ever a bluff. We are good here maybe 2 percent of the time and that's being optimistic.

most people at this limit would neeeever bluff CR this river. jsut fold. and no i dont think its a thin value bet because he can pay off with a ton of worse aces here or even a jack.

I would bet a little more on the river, $100-110, but yes you should fold to the minraise.

I don't understand why people make posts, but don't want to hear the answers and/or don't agree with what people have to say. If you come here asking for advice, the least you can do is take it into advisement instead of just ignoring everyone immediately. If you don't want to hear advice, don't post your hands. Is it just because you think you played the hand great and are looking for some approval? Just take people's advice or don't ask for it.

Bet more on the flop and turn. Those bets are just too weak in my opinion and due to that you have to call the river here. Just look at how that bet is perceived by your opponent(s).
