With 14-15xBB I'm almost never folding here. Villain has to know this too, so what can he raise me with? He is practically putting me all-in. Knowing that he knows that, what is villain's range here? Do I get the odds against this range?
Is folding ever an option here (I would have ~11BBs left)?

I probably fold if this is the first 3bet I have seen from him.

I certainly never flat call and see a flop. I dont get any more money in unless I flop a pair and am dominated. I dont like to cbet whiffs here since its highly likely that he has an overpair or dominating be with AK.

If he is *prone* to 3bet, if he has done this to me more than once, if I have seen him get called on a resteal with trash, if I have seen him bluff multiple streets after a showdown, if he is significantly more active than his fair share, then in all these cases, I will shove my AQs here...

but normally this is a fold, if villain is TAG and hasnt 3bet yet this tourney, well.. turns out his cards are even better than AQs... AQs isnt the nuts.

The overlay is significant, theres almost 30% of our stack in the pot now, so if theres much of a chance at all that he is doing this wide, like with a 77 or AQs or KQs or something, then yeah total shove. If its a tag that hasnt 3bet at all yet, then yeah his range is top 3% and were crushed.

Oh and with this stack size, I think your AQs should have been open pushed.

You can fold and have 1735 or shove with a X% chance of having 4595 ==> shove if X>37.7% ==> even if his range is as tight as 99+,AQ+ you should still shove ==> his range is surely wider than that ==> easy shove

While this may be an interesting academic question, you have AQs, which is way ahead of the typical open-raising hand 3 off of the button. So, this isn't a close decision. Push.

The 3 players acting after him might find a premium hand, but there is also some dead money from the blinds. I doubt one of these factors greatly outweighs the other. If they cancel exactly, then he can set you in with anything ahead of your raising range. If you will mistakenly fold hands as good as AQs (75th percentile?), he can profitably raise you with any two cards.

I think I misread his stack size to be over 2k after the raise...

Whatever, I think i am mistaken that its a fold here... This is a push even as played.

(Note that I think pushing pre is a stronger play)

I shove all day longs based on instinct lets see if my math agress with my instinct.
Anyway CO will call any shove from you. So im just going to suppose he is putting you all-in( for pot odds purposes not for hand ranges purposes)
Folding = 1735
Calling > 1735 if you win more than 37,7% of the time.
To win more than 37,7% ure oponent range has to be TT+,AQ+ or worse so easy call IMO.

id call this every single time aq is fine when relatively short harrington discusses a similar situatuion in one of the volumes and says aq is a strong hand when short and ok to get all in even in a 3 bet spot
