Adequately bankrolled (~$2000), I'd most definitely play this in preference to the $1-2. Then I'd play almost verbatim out of Miller's GSIHE.

Just keep in mind that, even after doubling or tripling up, you're still playing a pretty short stack with most effective stacks still at 10BBL. So you'll never much get away from short-stack NL, except those glorious times when you find yourself mining sets against a lucky fish who's also built up a stack.

Don't let the short-term variance get you down, and this should be much more lucrative than $1-2. As bad as the fish are at NL, they're probably even worse at short-stacked NL, calling all-ins with their suited kings and offsuit connectors and what-not.
