3/6 Online. Did villain improve on the turn ?

Villain had previously led at a paired boared, he folded the river on that occassion.

UTG limper was terrible, calls down with UI Kings. Makes terrible three bet bluffs.

Now this,

Preflop: Hero is in the CO with T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

NetMadMax, 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, roby68 calls from BB, moemoe2121 3, NetMadMax 3.

Flop (8 SB) A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
roby68 bets, 2 folds, Hero raises, roby68 calls.

Turn (6 BB) 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
roby68 bets, Hero raises , roby68 3 bets, Hero calls.

River (12 BB) 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
roby68 checks, Hero checks

After the aggression on the turn, I felt like Villain was going for c/r.

Bad river check. You should be betting/raising in this hand til the cows come home...

I think hero was isolating preflop but it's hard to tell. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Putting in as much bets as possible is spew.

If villian is good I'd tend to play WA/WB. If he is poor I'll throw in a raise on one of the big streets.

OP, it's risky, but I think you can bet the river. Call a CR and hate it.

He 3 bet the turn on a pretty much drawless board, I had a 10 kicker. I dont think this is the time to be raising until the cows come home.

He didn't improve. He waited until the turn to bet the case ace. Depending on your read what you do. If I have no read on the player I check the river also...jb

Dude, ATo is an open-raise from MP.

You should probably be just calling this hand, and put in one raise somewhere. I think the river might be best.

Reasonably often it should be a limp... and sometimes even a fold in an unraised pot.
