Normally I would check the turn in this situation to keep the pot small since the flush draw has hit. When we check the turn we are giving a free card but we are more likely to get a cheap showdown or to let villan bluff or bet worse hands.

pf is fine. On the flop I would bet about half the pot for pot control. Once the Q hits, I'd be happy to check the turn since there aren't many worse hands that will call on that turn. You have to put villain on AK, AJ, AT of spades, or maybe a flopped full house. You have to ask yourself what hands that would raise pf, check/call the flop that you're ahead of against an unknown? Not many, maybe 99, 88 but these hands probably would have led out on the flop.

I'd be potting the flop to possibly take it down, the turn seems to give alo of outs so checking it down isnt the end of the world. At that level(27) I gotta think he hit the nuts in the turn and is trying to get paid, no reason to really bluff there. HUmda humda hum
