I ask this because although poker is my only income, when people as me if i have a job i say no. I would never be like "ya, im a pro poker player".

Its simple. If you live at home with parents, and you play to put a few bucks in your pocket, but not enough for you to fully support yourself then you are not a pro.

You would need to be able to provide your own housing, pay all of your bills, provide food for yourself and keep clothes on your back, and still win enough to maintain this cycle to be considered a pro.
