My favorite is "New Hope Jewelery," a pawn shop directly across the street from Taj. I have seen a number of people trudge back from that store into the Taj as I've driven in over the years. Talk about ROCK BOTTOM.

I understand the casinos in AC are pretty spread out along the boardwalk. What is in between them?

[/ QUOTE ]Why do you ask, for curiosity's sake?

[/ QUOTE ] I was just wondering what it's like to walk along the boardwalk.

A seedy, poorly run sub joint near the trop. The food is decent, but they run the place like the Soup Nazi. Everything has to be just so. Can't do this, must do that, etc. etc. Plus, you have to buy drinks from a vending machine at the back.

If you like the ocean, it's a great walk. Nice break from the ding, ding of a casino. Las Vegas has no such attraction. Shops on the boardwalk are carnival-like but there are some decent pizza and sub places.

Always safe during the day, never ventured out during the night, sheepish and careful here. Perhaps in the summer its a good walk in the night, never been in the summer.

Certainly a walk to another casino is in order during the day and the boardwalk is the way.

what he means is.....the best sndwich joint on the East Coast. Try to get there before the summer as the lines get longer than a Borgata 2-4 list

The subs are awesome and when I went the old lady waitress was super friendly. I could add whatever I wanted and she even made sure the subs were cut properly so my friends could split 3-ways. Soda was brought by in from a can and we got cups.
