Default Re: Help with splitting odd chip in O/8

[ QUOTE ]
Does it go to which ever stack is getting quarted?

[/ QUOTE ]Simon - Never, to the best of my knowledge. Exactly how extra chips are awarded for getting quartered or sixthed varies from casino to casino, but the high stack always gets the extra chip.

You should ask a Commerce floor person to be sure, or if you don't want to ask yourself, have a friend ask a floor person for you.

A dealer's handbook probably would not help you, since the rules vary from casino to casino. But on this particular point I have never seen a variance. The odd chip always goes to the high, at least in my experience.
