Default Re: HUSNG Taking Coinflips on the Flop? When?

This is the ultimate "it depends" question. Against someone who plays pretty straight forward, and I am grinding down slowly, I really don't like to take lots of coinflips. However, against a decent agressive opponent, there are times when you just need to get your money in with a big draw or a big hand, even if you suspect it will be a coin flip. If you don't you are just too easy to play against. Besides, gambling is fun!

Edit: Oh and if you have over 45% equity, and there is money in the pot, generally it is higher EV to take a flip, than to fold. That said, sometimes it is even higher EV to draw and not play your draw so aggressively.

Mainly, your post is very vague, post some hands..
