Cops who turn thier siren on to avoid congested lights -or just run em

speeding 5 miles over is a bit different than turning your lights on and making people get out of your way in a non emergency situation because you are too impatient to wait. it's also different than running a red light which I doubt anyone on here does on a regular basis.

cops can do whatever you want. so go to the hospital and get your bleeding heart checked out because cops are always right and that's the bottom line. they're heroes even when they serve in low-crime suburban areas and make 80k a year. they're still special-class citizens.

I used to not be bothered by this; most of the cops in my town don't do [censored] like this in broad daylight, but wait until like 3 AM. Usually they'll throw the lights on, no siren, barrel through the intersection, go dark and then haul balls down the street. Obviously this is because they need to be somewhere, quickly, but don't want whomever they're trying to nab seeing them coming half a mile away because of their lights.

Then occasionally I'll see them blow a light to make it to the late-night drive-thru at Taco Bell. This royally pisses me off, especially if I'm waiting for the light to turn green so I can go to the late-night drive-thru at Taco Bell. Then I have to wait for the light AND a douchebag cop.
