also, what are some better options than raising all in. I felt like the overbet was best because i thought it would probably induce folds, while ensuring that i saw all 5 cards. Thanks in advance for advice.

I'd just pop it up to about 2500 that way you still have the option to get away from the hand if you choose. Especially since the raiser is another big stack. If you get re-raised then you can probably lay it down but it think an AI is too aggressive here. Thats just me though..curious to see what others think.

What type of tournament is this? This seems to be the new Kill Phil power play, where you take a strong hand and not play it postflop. It's not that bad a play if you are a newer player at a $1-10 tourney.
