All OK, raise a little more preflop, like 1.25. Maybe check this turn too. Go all in on river.

Oh and don't post the results. Although from the title what happens is clear.

I would just call his PSB on river if he isn't absolute idiot.

Most of the money went in on river, not good. What hands you think you beat there. I think it's a split at best. I would just call the river. Your hand may be 2nd nuts but it's still not that strong, more like a bluff catcher.

This really depends on table dynamics. Without a read on the opponent I probably just call. If he shows any kind of history of making big river bluffs I play this the same way.

I would call river and catch bluff, I think he bets only bluff if he doesn´t have 8 here.

I'm new to this...but no way I'm just calling the river.

if he has T8 so be it...and you can certainly get value from a raise on the river...it's hard for him to call a raise on the river with a 1 card straight out there...but what about your line would make him think you are likely to have an 8 here anyway?

a raise is definitely worth it IMO

If villain is as bad as he looks. This river is a call.

Why are we raising a split pot at best? If he's a retard and slow played KK/AA here, then in that unlikely situation we might miss some value. But the board does have 4 to a straight on it. Against bad players the gut shot is definitely in their calling range. I see no point in raising.
