RDH,

I like the way they look with spaces; its aesthetically pleasing to me.

Apparently the ceiling isnt plumb. bleh.

I've got a bunch of crap to do today, but hopefully I can get the wall finished today.

Is there a logistical reason you're leaving space between each page? I thought all the samples I saw where the pages were flush looked much better than those with gaps.

Think it's just the "I'm too lazy to cut off my printer margins" logistical reason.

I thought it was because it would never look perfect if you tried to line them up exactly; it looks cleaner if you leave a uniform gap.

Lots of the examples on the Rasterbator gallery looked just fine when the pages were set flush with each other.

RDH,

I just like the spacings. I actually had the pages cut flush with the image, so i could have put them flush with each other, I just decided not to. Or, really, the thought didn't cross my mind. I just wanted to do it this way. I like the gaps, I think it makes it a bit weird.

Or maybe I'm just trying to explain why I didn't even consider flushing them out

I think it looks great, and its gonna be totally sick when its finished.

I left a 2 inch space between each page. I think it looks cooler for the fact that if I had all of them together it just makes it look like a cheap poster.

Also, I went with 3mm.

I don't know much about this, but why not go with 1mm? If you're doing it at kinko's like I did who gives a damn about their color cartridges?

the point of the dots is to give it the dot matrix feel. otherwise it's just another poster. the more detailed the pic is the smaller you need the dots to be. but what's the point? if you're printing something out that is super detailed why not just buy it as a poster

Because I want it to be spaced out and I can't find posters this big of the pictures I want.
