The difference from Biloxi to Tunica is only about 100 miles.

LOL...I thought the same thing!

I get the strong impression from reading OP's posts in this thread that he is extremely geographically-challenged.

Also anybody have any info on which is the nearest poker room to South Beach Miami?

thanks

[/ QUOTE ]

Closest room would be either Flagler or Calder, each about 30 minutes or so away from South Beach.

On related note has naybody played at the Micosukkee resorts in FLorida and if so what is the general service and standard of play like? Also anybody have any info on which is the nearest poker room to South Beach Miami?

thanks

[/ QUOTE ]

Miccosukee is probably the ONLY casino in South Florida that has not raised the stakes at all. I have been a regular customer of Miccosukee for a few years, but now I would feel like an idiot going there to play 1/2 when I could be playing in more profitable games.

The nearest poker room to the beach, that I know of, is Flagler Dog Track.

From Charleston, SC (possibly the town in SC farthest from both cities):

Biloxi is 663.40 miles
Tunica is 728.72 miles

Biloxi is further to the South in MS, Tunica is to the far Northwest. The distance from one town to the other is irrelevant, it's the added distance to the trip that matters.

According to Google Maps, you're only 729 from Atlantic city. So, I guess its a toss up...just where you'd rather play...Tunica or AC.
