Fair comment, that's the sort of constructive criticism I need to hear. You are obviously an optimist senor.

However, I hear a lot of chants for 'rigged! rigged!'.

Here's my summary :

- I suspect I'm being rigged

- I can't play big cash games anywhere 'cept online. So I hope it isn't rigged. I don't want to believe it's rigged 'cos my bankroll dreams will disappear along with WSOP 2008 main event ticket.

- my mind is not rigged

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, you've only played 500 hands.
A general rule of thumb is to play X hands where X is the max buyin at your stake before you know if you're a winning player or not.
Since you play at 5/10, you'll need ~1000 hands before you know for sure. (You may hit a massive upswing in the second half).

Looking at your hand histories, you're clearly a winning player with really [censored] luck (but I don't think it's rigged), I'm sure you'll do well in the next half.

shortline,

I sort of wished I had read your posts before I gave up on this thread so we could have gotten into a leveling war.

(I hope you were leveling, or re-leveling, or whatever)

I should do work now. BBV is like crack.

Fair comments by everyone, good or bad lol.

In response to Wiggs, you cannot worry about having the absolute nuts 24/7. I won quite a large chunk by making good calls when I had the 2nd nuts. If I folded every time I was confronted with a big raise and said 'uh oh, might be beat' then I'd never get past 2K. I'd be bluffed off every pot and end up with a big bill for the PF raises and blinds.
Maybe I should post up some winning hands to see what I mean. A prime example was when I hit trip 6s today, the guy could have had trip 7s or trip 10s, but I got all my money in anyway and was the winner. I put him on a big pair and was right. That's the luck factor.

I wish I could make aggressive calls with the second nuts but I'm not at that level yet.

yoshi,

Gutshot / combo draw / 2nd pair or whatever != 2nd nuts.
