Wiggs, you're an absolute joke. How are they going to rig ONE account? If you rig one account, you have to rig all the accounts that even SOUND like it. That's the only way you'd be able to program it in. You can't just rig "Gutshotking," the program would leak and suddenly you've rigged "Gutshocking," "Nutshotking," "Grimstarring." There's no way you can code for just one account, code just doesn't work like that. If they were to try to rig accounts like that, soon EVERYONE would be rigged, and then how would you explain all the players who actually win at poker? You can't. You just can't.

If he thinks he's rigged now, he's staying rigged. Why? Because his damn mind is rigged.

The only reason you're "up" on Stars is because you have selective memory for the pots you win. All players remember their big pots and suckouts. You're a losing damn player. Why does it look like you are up? Stars sneaks a little extra money into your accounts when you're losing and they take a little away when you're winning. That way you always want to play more when you're winning cause you think you should be up more, and then you have a little more to lose when you're losing. See how that works? They'd never tell you. But you gotta watch. Take out your calculator and add up your pots. You'll see.

Nothing I'm saying is unsubstantiated. If you're always going to be drawing for a cab and when it comes near the license plate says "Fresh" and has dice in the mirror, you're going to miss half the time, and you have to deal with those beats. You can't just cry out "rigged." Learn to play a damn hand. Go back to your stupid pocket fives dance party, Wiggs, and cry your way home back to your grillz.

My question is still, is the website rigging me or is this normal fluxuation that would occur with live cards??

[/ QUOTE ]

How many hands have you played online in the past five days?

[/ QUOTE ]

I've played about 400-500 hands the last time I checked. I would need to verify the exact number.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well listen, situations #1 and #3 do seem semi-rare, but they definitely happen. You need to understand that if you are in similar situations again, next time you will likely win.

Fair comment, that's the sort of constructive criticism I need to hear. You are obviously an optimist senor.

However, I hear a lot of chants for 'rigged! rigged!'.

Here's my summary :

- I suspect I'm being rigged

- I can't play big cash games anywhere 'cept online. So I hope it isn't rigged. I don't want to believe it's rigged 'cos my bankroll dreams will disappear along with WSOP 2008 main event ticket.

- my mind is not rigged

Ok I sort of got tired of this thread sooner than I thought I would.

yoshi,

Come on man, wtf. The full house hand was sick, you can have that. Those things happen though. The gutshot hand was LOL, you were behind the entire time. The 2 pair vs. 2 pair hand, you made it sound like you were behind the entire time there too but your hand improved slightly on the river. The draw vs. top pair hand, you were behind the entire time.

Whatever.

Pretty much all I can gather from your original post in this thread is that a) you aren't very good at poker and b) you have NO concept of bankroll management or variance.

Could you go from $1200 to $9000 in 30 days, playing 5/10, and do so from just getting lucky? Yes. Horrible players go on heaters. They get in with gutshots, flush draws, etc, run hot for a while and then lose it all back. It sounds like you're well on your way to doing that.

9k is nowhere NEAR enough to play 5/10 with, even if you're good. I wouldn't play 3/6 with 9k. Ok I would, but I'd have to be willing to move down to 2/4 after a minuscule downswing.

5/10 NL players are typically pretty solid. Much more solid than it sounds like you are. I know because I've spent time playing 5/10.

My actual advice to you would be to cash out all your money but a few hundred dollars, thank God you actually profited, and spend time learning how to play poker better and grinding small stakes. Learn about bankroll management. Learn about variance. Learn how to fold gutshot straight draws.

Also, online poker sites aren't rigged.

Sorry if I ruined the fun, I was no longer entertained by this thread and I'd feel bad if this guy busto'd because wiggs73 told him he should keep playing 5/10 with $3000 or whatever in his account.

shortline,

I sort of wished I had read your posts before I gave up on this thread so we could have gotten into a leveling war.

(I hope you were leveling, or re-leveling, or whatever)

I should do work now. BBV is like crack.

Most of the people yelling "rigged!" are being sarcastic. BBV is a forum for joking around - you generally don't find serious discussion here. Try the other strategy forums for that.

That said, I HIGHLY doubt Full Tilt is rigging you. Full Tilt is one of the bigger sites, and it is backed by several of the biggest name and well-respected players in the game. If the site really was cheating some people, they wouldn't only be putting Full Tilt's name on the line, but the names of all of the professionals as well.

If you still aren't convinced, try playing at another site and see whether you have better results. You more than likely will not.

I don't know why nobody called out the OP on this, but it's obvious OP is just trolling.

Everyone is trying to 'out-level' the OP with their "FTP truly is rigged" / "FTP can't be rigged because Stars is the rigged one" comments, but the OP leveled you all.

Who the [censored] plays Cash to save up for the 2008ME? LOL
