[/ QUOTE ] I took a shot and ended up +400 which was a nice welcome gift =) problem was that I was running way tight, so I went back to 50nl where Ill stay for a bit and try and really open up my game. I started last night playing about 24/18 and have had good results so far so I'll keep that up and take heaps more shots at 100nl. |

Why would you want to change your game before you move up? Just keep playing your normal game for a few k hands, then open up at $100. Tight still got you 4 buyins [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Tight still got you 4 buyins [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] [/ QUOTE ] because nitty is too exploitable. its not really poker. anyone can nut peddle but to really influence the dynamics of the table you have to open up and pressure your oppoents more. ive played about 1k hands with a looser style and i am killing it, i can already see how its going to change my game. fwiw i moved from 19/14/2.5 to 24/18/6.0, not a huge change and still TAG, but far more aggressive and much less exploitable its the nizzles [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] |
