Its called "Cloverfield" for now...which is just a made up title.
Its supposedly a monster from the sea movie, but not godzilla.
Its going to be all in like the first person...hand held cameras n stuff ala Blair Witch(ughhh) supposedly.

That actually sounds horrible.

I thought the movie was good. People that didn't like it or wanted a better storyline suck at life.

This movie delivered what it promised. Good action scenes, good special effects, and cool transforming robots. If you wanted a life-changing experience going in, then you don't understand summer movies. It delivered what it promised.

I give it two thumbs up, in fact I'd go see it again.

Ok, look people, it's not that it's "bad" to enjoy a Michael Bay film, it's that every film given to a man like Michael Bay is a film that's guaranteed to not be the next Star Wars or whatever. Is Transformers an enjoyable popcorn flick? Sure. But it could have been so much more under the hands of like ANY other director. And even the things you liked about this movie were mostly due to ILM and had little to do with Bay's directing. When people talk about how sucky they think this movie is, it's because they see so much potential and think they could have been watching the next Star Wars if only the movie had been given to a competent director. Worse though, since people are giving the studio bajillions of dollars for this movie, it just encourages them to keep hiring Michael Bay the next time instead of getting someone better (anyone).

This movie could have been done so much better. I hate Michael Bay.

Duhamel's character(gotta get home to see my newborn, lol) and the "hackers"(why did they have to be teenagers?) stories were so unnecessary and cliche. The dialogue became so so bad in the last half of the movie.

The robots were cool, though.

I am currently having a debate with a co-worker about whether Megan Fox is top-10 in terms of hotness for Hollywood actresses. He says she registers as "pretty hot" but also pretty commonplace and not even in top-25, while I say "effin hot". It's a very scientific argument.

She's cute but doesn't seem any cuter than the starlets you see on t.v. every day.

Just saw. Too much awful dialogue and crap side plots. I have no idea why John Tuturro decided to play the character like that. The action scenes couldve been better but there were so many of them that I am completely happy with that aspect.

Girl was hot, Shia has come a long way and the casting worked for him, I enjoyed 85% of the movie.

The dialogue and parts I didnt find too funny I found a lot of black people really cracking up at. Different sense of humor I guess. I really did like when the fat kid jumped through the glass door however.

Just saw it. Wasn't impressed. I think if Spielberg directed instead of Bay, the movie would have been way better.

The comic was actually quite good. I knew the movie wouldn't follow that. You actually saw little decepticons in the movie. They didn't have much face time. That is one thing I disliked about the movie.

It could have been better. Jon Voight looks complete ridculous in this. So the soliders keep shooting guns at them throughout the entire movie even though they have little affect. Pointless.

I like John Turturro but his role was bad.

I didn't like the movie, because if they had actually thought about it the plot and acting actually could have been way better. Man, that was silly.
