OK. Recap:
- I suck at 50NL 6max. 11K hands and -2BIs (lifetime)
- I suck at multitabling. As soon as I open the 4th table, my roll only knows one way: downwards. Might be due to the 15.4" laptop screen and the really small images when resizing the tables; I lose on every limit when playing more than 2 or 3 tables.
- I didn't look at my game in PT for a long time

Soooo. What I'm gonna do is:
- Only play 2 tables
- Use that instarange-tool or the stove range slider a lot during play
- go through my PT database and make EV calculations for every hand that I played in the last month or so that didn't take it down with a cbet; i really need to get a feel for equity/range-stuff.
- I got into uPLO a little and I like it, actually, although FTP 10 PLO is so overraked it's not even funny (but I haz god ze rakepakk!)
- get me that stress buddy thingy from the FTP store coz I really need to stop throwing water bottles at the walls making dents into them (the walls)...
- cash out rakeback to save it for a bigger screen

Ok, villain is 50/20/2 and raises 4BB on the button with a $22 stack at $0.25/0.50 stakes and I am SB with 66, what's my plan? And what about 22 here? I'm thinking 88+ I would reraise but I'm not sure about 55-77.

I'm thinking calling and then betting the flop is often bad because this type of player will prob call with allsorts.

Also, I should know this by know but what's the best or a good line for AK OOP against a tight player who's something like 20/12/2.5? I mean how far do you go if they call the flop on, say an A74 board, do you then check- call turn or bet/fold? Is this type of player calling my 4BB raise in pos with all pairs or maybe only something like 77+?

[/ QUOTE ]

Anyone?

Re. the showdown stats, I was serious; I wasn't sure how standard that was. Usually when I look I find I'm losing with one pair or whatever, so I was pleasantly suprised to see I was winning with everything over a decent sample size.

also ssdex, I am pretty sure I do not run better than you!

All "bad days" are hard to take. Blah blah. No problem. Standard.

But I find there is one particular kind of "bad day" that is more soul-destroying than the others.

They are the days when ALL the smallball stuff goes wrong all day: cbets are always called when you want a fold, all 3bs go wrong (somehow), floats whiff, you raise flop donks and get 3b instead of a fold, pfraises always end up multiway and you have to give up the pot without a fight post etc etc.

I find these "smallball" days tougher to handle than "bad beat" days because:

1. They make you question such fundamental things as cbets and other basic building-blocks of Unlimited Texas Poker.
2. In session review, you can't find all the BI's you lost...just loads of $10 - $20 pots (@50NL) that are things like 3b/cb gone wrong. Nothing necessarily "wrong" in your play, just totally meh.
