1) Super Mario World should be replaced by Super Mario 3. World was great and all; but it was basically 3 with updated graphics and an updated map system. Plus they dumped the inventory and the mushroom houses which I loved. I don't have any problems with Mario 64 being rated higher; but that's a matter of personal preference.

This is a pretty decent point, I've thought about the 3-World similarities myself. World has a saving system and a lot of fancy hidden secrets, but that might not be enough to propel it above 3 since 3 came first. I guess it all comes down to level design in this case, and while I have "beaten" all the main Mario games, I have come nowhere close to playing through every level of 3 or World (warping ftw).

Yoshi's Island forces you to play through them all though, and obv I got all 120 stars in 64.

Deus Ex needs to be on any kind of best video game ever list, way too good to be ignored.

terrible list

No Doom or Quake? Eh, I guess 3D was just a fad. I should have known nobody would like FPS's.

You're throwing out too many names for a top 10 list, evidenced by the fact that the top 10 list would have at least 30 games on it if all of you were right.

This might be true but there is no denying that the list is shifted towards more modern games. RE4 was a great game but I don't have it above some of the GTA's(1/2/Vice) or GoW. And, FF-12, though I loved the game(it's had one of the best storylines of any game I have played) and have it as my top 3 FF game, you need to toss it and put in Chrono Trigger or if you really need an FF than FFVII.

Personally I thought many of the sequels or originals were better than those listed.

1. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
--OK, but #1?

2. Resident Evil 4
--I thought 2 was better and more revolutionary

3. Super Mario 64
--I thought 3 & world were WAY better

4. Half Life 2
--Fun game, but again, not in my top 10

5. Super Mario World
--64 was better?

6. Zelda: A Link to the Past
--This game was awesome

7. Halo: Combat Evolved
--Revolutionary, though I enjoyed 2 more

8. Final Fantasy XII
--Didn't even finish this game, too repetitive w/ no work from the user for most battles. 2, 3 & 7 were better (US)

9. Tetris
--Can't argue

10. Super Metroid
--I wouldn't put this as my top 10

What about the original Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken, MGS, Star or Warcraft & Diablo 2? IMO these were more revolutionary (better?) than many of the above.
