Steal it, track down the dude who Humberto slowrolled with aces in the ME, give it to that guy and let him keep it until he gets an apology.

[ QUOTE ]
Very true, if i said "i'll do it for you peoples money" there'd be no insults, but the second i mention half goes to charity i'm a greedy ass for not giving it all? [/ QUOTE ] It's the presentation, the thread title implies this is a charitable venture and then you talk about how 50% is going to charity in detail but allow it only to be implied your pocketing the rest, in fairness that much is obvious but the fact remains you never actually say it. If you had just clearly asked for money to pull the stunt and added as a post-script that half was going to charity, I doubt anyone would mind. |

As much as I kind of like this whole idea I'm pretty sure you come off looking like a douche in the end. I can't think of anything specific but I think you should try to come up with a way to make fun of Humberto more subtly so that you don't look like an [censored] on TV, but everyone in the poker community knows what you really mean.

2) He obviously likes the persona he displays for the cameras and doesn't care what gringos think about his antics [/ QUOTE ] A little off topic but I thought this was suppose to refer to foreigners in Latin American countries? How can you be called a gringo if you're in the united states and you're a US citizen? |

I think the best thing to do is grab it and throw it across the room. Destroying it or stealing it would come off bad IMO. You will be the next Prahlad if you throw that thang.

I think you should buy a replica of it. Maybe saw it in half first, then when you steal it swap the two and act like you break it.
Or you could hollow out the replica, insert a transmitter and try to frame him for cheating...I can't really think of anything funny you could stick inside of it, maybe a small dead fish? Is this the same one? |

Rather than shipping the money to Bad Beat on Cancer or Children Inc., something much dearer to the hearts of all NVG readers would to send the proceeds to the David Sklansky Foundation for Fallen Women.

How you come off is all style here, like Shane said. I suggest you ham it up. Send a threatening note to ESPN before you do it, like: "Soon your shark friends will be sushi, the Zakuza Chef", or something funny. Then when you do the kidnapping make a real production of it. Try to do it when you can get the table or ESPN or someone to distract him, maybe right as break is happening, then put a mask on a run up a grab the sharks yelling something weird then run. As he unsucessfully chases you, have a friend put a funny ransom note on the table, explaining the charity angle. Then you can send funny proof of life notes, with pictures of the sharks, (slightly worse for wear), "Pay up or they won't be swimming with the fishes anymore!" ESPN will play the whole thing up, probably use mission impossible music. Then at the end of the Series have a charity auction where he can buy back the sharks, and people can bid for them to die. I think he will take it in good humor, it can only get he more camera time. Even if he took it badly, it would be highly unlikely the cops would have any interest in something that was clearly a joke/for charity. Good luck.
